XSitePro is a new website design package that we have reviewed to create entire web sites, not just individual pages, and optimize them. I think that some web design packages have too steep a learning curve. That’s why I want to tell you about a product that I’ve just reviewed called XSitePro. More replies were positive about XSitePro than any other, so I subscribed and downloaded the software, putting faith in the promise of a 365 day refund.

I have RSS feeds of different news sources that automatically update several times per week plus I have Google Adsense adds on all my pages. The ads change based on the content of my pages but they are a good way to make additional income. Rather than tell you about all the features you can go directly to Drupal.org and look at all the things you can get. You can download unique themes to change the look of your site plus you can get what are called Modules which allow you to add special features to your pages like perhaps a shopping cart and product catalog.

I pay just $24.95 per month and I can host as many domains as I want with this one account. Before I found out about doing this i used to pay a seperate hosting fee for each of my domains which can be very expensive. The best choice I have found for this is Hostgator.com.

Instead of wishing them a happy birthday, which he or she might have heard a thousand times, why not post a countdown clock for the birthday of your friend! There will be a countdown timer telling you how many days, hours minutes and even seconds towards a specific event. You can even benefit from these as you won’t forget about the event.

Before you go ahead and post these cool add-ons, make sure that they are made not only for popular web browser (Internet Explorer) but for other browsers as well (Mozilla, Opera and Others) that way, all of your friends will appreciate all the things that you have posted. Besides, it takes a little more time to look for these add-ons rather that sending a short messages. The effort is all you need to have these cool add-ons for your website.

Designing a web site is hard enough. You spend countless hours working on how it is going to look and what cool specials effects it is going to have. You even spent hours picking out your site colors. So now what?

Now you have to promote it. But how? There are many ways. You can submit them to search engines, join a pay per click advertising program and link exchanges. Of these link exchanges are the ones most picked, mainly because they are free. But do they work.

According to the emails that keep coming into my inbox, link exchange is dead. The big search engines know what they are about. Back scratching. You link to me and I will link to you. It does not help your SEO or your quest to be #1 on Google or Yahoo. But it does give you awareness to the people you exchanged links to. And this can be helpful.

I believe there is no one way to get your site ranked number one with anyone. But I do think if you plan your strategy correctly and use all of the tools available to you, you can get what you are looking for. You designed your site and you know what your audience is looking for. You may even know where your audience is.

So just because you hear certain marketing methods are dead, don’t give up hope and sell your domain name. Use the normal process to get ranked among the big boys and use you link exchanges for awareness to you targeted audience.

Before you can consider the finer points of your design, you need to make the big decisions. Few decisions are more important than the color scheme your website is going to use.

Pay Attention To Contrast

You need to pick colors that provide enough contrast to make your text stand out in order to promote readability. * yellow and purple.

These colors work surprisingly well together.

Complementary colors also are a good way to pick colors that will be easily readable against a certain background: look for the exact opposite color to maximise readability.

Analog Colors

Another approach to try is to pick colors that are similar to your main color, meaning that they’re near to it on the color wheel. Red, for example, goes well with its analog colors, orange and yellow. If overdone, this can make your site look too bright, but in moderation the results can look good. It’s no coincidence that these combinations often occur in nature.

Chromatic Colors

A personal favorite, chromatic colors use different shades and hues of 1 color for your entire design — nothing else except black and white. For example, you might use light blue, bright blue and dark blue together. This creates a sleek and professional look.

Take Colors From Nature

For inspiration for a color scheme, go for a walk outside. Take a look at plants, landscapes, and animals. Nature knows how to use colors — learn from it.

Color Blindness

Try to make sure that your design uses color to make itself aesthetically pleasing, but doesn’t rely on the color scheme for anything essential. Statistics show that perhaps 10% of the web users are at least partially color blind, so you need to consider these people when you design your site. Make sure they can at least read your text.

Photos into design is like putting life into it. Without photos, the design would appear bland and boring to those who are seeing them. People, having short attention span, gets bored easily. It is when they see something interesting that their attention first is caught. Curiosity will follow.
